Continuing with the theme of Annual Lectures in which we
explore all aspects of chronic pain, the 2024 Lecture The
Placebo Effect was presented by Professor Frabrizio Benedetti
who is Professor of physiology and neuroscience at the
University of Turin Medical School in Turin, Italy and a researcher
in the field of placebo studies. His research findings include the
placebo effect reducing symptoms of Parkinson’s disease, pain and hypoxia.
37th Clinical Management
of Chronic Pain Course 2024 a Continued Success
We are excited to reflect on the continued success of the 37th Annual Clinical
Management of Chronic Pain Course. This esteemed event has once again proven itself
as a cornerstone in the education and training of healthcare professionals dedicated to
the effective management of chronic pain.
Workshops, panel discussions, and interactive sessions encouraged active participation,
allowing attendees to engage with both the speakers and one another. This inclusive
atmosphere not only enriched the learning experience but also fostered a sense of
community among those dedicated to improving chronic pain management.
