This was a free event for people who experience
persistent pain, health care professionals working
with people who have persistent pain or people
who know someone who has persistent pain.
The aim of the meeting was to improve that
understanding pain is key to living well with pain.
The event included the most up-to-date
understanding of persistent pain from recent
research and experience of working in the largest and longest running pain management
programme in the UK. There were presentations from experts in pain management including
pain consultants, physiotherapists, psychologists, occupational therapists, and people who
experience persistent pain.
