Traditional ecological knowledge, upon which Maskoke contributions
to climate solutions and ecological restoration rely, is embedded deep
within our language. It equips our community members with the ethical
lens and practical management tools necessary to become more effective
stewards of our bioregion. Thus without language, Maskoke culture and
the biodiversity that depends on our stewardship are in great peril.
