Reflecting on 2023
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our community—
partners, funders, colleagues, family and friends. It truly
takes a village to make meaningful change, and we are profoundly thankful for your trust and commitment as we walk
forward together.
2023 was characterized by collaborative
service. The work we 昀椀nd ourselves in and
moving forward cannot and is not intended
to be for one person, family, organization,
community, or entity to do alone.
We continue to learn that collaboration is paramount for
driving sustainable and lasting change. We are honored
to be a part of weaving enduring relationships between
the Global North and the Global South—communities,
movement organizers, leaders, funders, 昀椀nancial operators,
technologists, scientists, and many more.
This past year, we supported organizations
operating at local, regional, and international levels. We focused on funding large
science-backed tools such as the Global Safety
Net and progressing the Rights of Nature movement, as well as Indigenous People to continue to
protect and regenerate their biocultural region. We
built relationships with other funders to reimagine
how to improve collaboration on large and small projects and be better allies to communities through how we
work together. We also convened numerous project partners at Bioneers gathering to unify and celebrate diversity
as we regenerate our planet and her communities.
By joining together, we amplify precious resources,
knowledge, and experience to effectively and ef昀椀ciently
engage in interconnected opportunities.
