Follow the rules, keep your meat
To prevent the spread of chronic wasting
disease, only the following is allowed to be
imported into Washington from harvested
deer, elk, moose and caribou:

• Meat that has been deboned where it was
harvested;
• Skulls and antlers, antlers attached to the
skull plate, or upper canine teeth (buglers,
whistlers, ivories) from which all soft tissue
has been removed, including velvet on the
antlers;
• Hides or capes without heads attached;
• Tissue imported for use by a diagnostic or
research laboratory;
• And finished taxidermy mounts.
