Northwest Reel Life April 2024 Volume 3 Issue 6 - Flipbook - Page 4
EDITOR’S CORNER:
Springtime is here! And with it comes the promises of new adventures ahead. I’ve always made a point
of exploring new locations, techniques, and species to fish for, and moving to Montana has certainly
made that a whole lot easier. Every week offers the opportunity to see new sights and travel to places not
visited before. Fly rods that gathered dust in years past are now in the front rotation, and salmon gear
moves to the back. The calendar steadily fills up with trips “locked in”. As my wife JoAnn says, “Is it on the
calendar?” If I forget to write it in, it isn’t confirmed. Marriage requires give and take, flexibility, and good
communication. A fair balance must be struck. I have been blessed to have a spouse who gives me a lot
of freedom to explore my adventurous side. I try my best not to take advantage of that freedom!
Whatever adventures you have planned may they fill your heart and soul with joy.
Enjoy this month’s issue and see you on the water.
