MICROGRIDS HELP STRENGTHEN COMMUNITY RESILIENCE
With the help of Morrow-Meadows Corporation, a Women Business Enterprise, SDG&E
completed construction on four microgrids in 2023. Powered by energy storage,
the microgrids provide backup power to critical community facilities,
such as fire stations, schools and libraries that serve as Cool Zones.
