Wildfire Mitigation Predictive Modeling Technology
We are at the forefront of leveraging big data, advanced analytics and machine learning to advance wildfire safety and reduce
the impact of Public Safety Power Shutoffs for customers. Working with Logic 2020, a Minority Business Enterprise, we continue
to enhance our Wildfire Next Generation System (WiNGS), an innovative cloud-based visualization tool that leverages large sets
of fire science and weather data to help prioritize grid hardening and support operational decision-making during extreme fire
weather conditions.
WiNGS supports real-time decision-making on implementation of power shutoffs as a last resort to prevent catastrophic
wildfires. Along with data and analytics support, Logic 2020 is optimizing and running the model in the cloud, improving
efficiency and resiliency of the WiNGS framework and capabilities.
