Tamworth New School - Re Furniture.
T have seen the Contractor re this matter and he
informs me that it is no doubt time that the furniture was
ordcred, but that it is hopeless to expect that the building
will be ready for occupation at the end of the Christmas

the whole time, he does not expect to be quite finished by
Contract time and some time back said he would most likely
have to ask for an exteusion. Considerable delay has bee
experienced in the delilTery of materials, especially roofing
tiles. Under the circumstances, therefore, it would appear
inevitable that the two halls referred to will be required for
a further term.
