Have exit lights been provided over all exits?
If so, are they kept alight during all public
entertainments and public meetings?

Is there adequate "panic" lighting to ensure
easy exit in the event of failure of the main
lighting system? Panic lighting should be
tested at night when all other lighting has
been extinguished and any deficiencies
should be reported. Panic lighting is separate from the exit lights.

Do exit doors open outwards, and will door
bolts yield to pressure from inside hall?

This hall has not been used for the
showing of films for the past 7 years.
Originally there were approximately 1,000
fix-e-d—s-eats in stalls—and-5-00 in the
gallery, the gallery seats remain but all
seats have been removed from the stalls.
