Enquiries made this date revealed that the subject building
is presently being used by the owners, Salvation Army, for
the storage of second-hand clothing which they sell through
their Charity Stores around Tamworth, one of which is situated
in a shop next door to the subject Centre.
1,
The building is not used by the general public for any
entertainment purposes.
I previously reported on this matter to the Department of
Services, Sydney, my report dated 26 October 1977, when it was
understood that the building was going to be sold by the
Salvation Army to another Church body, however, it is believed
that this sale did not eventuate.
Perhaps this report could now be forwarded to the Department of
Services, Sydney, for information.
