Cinematograph Screen.
REFERtNCE:-
Your communication of the 31st ultimo.
The sample of cinematpgraph screen furnished
with your communication under reference has been
subjected to a flame test by this Department and
satisfactory results were obtained. Sample returned
herewith.
The above Theatre was visited by a Fire Brigade
Officer on the 13th instant and it is reported that
the screen installed therein is narked with the date
of installation (22. 9.47), name of manufacturer
(G.R. Brakel), and trade name of material ("Brakelite
Inspection revealed that the frame
Flame Proof").
supporting is screen is of hardwood, metal sheathed
and rigid. Curtains and drapes were last treated
on the 16th October, 1947 and on being subjected to
a test by the Board's Officer satisfactory results
were obtained.
