Approval was given to the provisions of the Prisons
(Amendment) Bill, 1988, as summarised in Cabinet Minute
88-112 dated 30th May, 1988, submitted by the Minister
for Corrective Services, in relation to this matter.

TRANSPORT APPEAL BOARDS (AMENDMENT) BILL, 1988.
Approval was given to the provisions of the Transport
Appeal Boards (Amendment) Bill, 1988, as summarised in
Cabinet Minute 88-114 dated 30th May, 1988, submitted by
the Minister for Transport, in relation to this matter.

STATE TRANSPORT (CO-ORDINATION) AMENDMENT
BILL, 1988 AND COGNATE BILL.
Approval was given to the provisions of the State
Transport (Co-ordination) Amendment Bill, 1988, as
summarised in Cabinet Minute 88-115 dated 30th May,
1988, submitted by the Minister for Transport, in
relation to this matter, subject to:the deletion from Schedules 1 in Attachments A
and B, Long Distance Bus Services, of Paragraph
(b) " which carry passengers on tours or for
recreational purposes."

AMENDMENT OF THE TEACHING SERVICES ACT TO VARY
MAJOR ASPECTS OF TEACHERS' CONDITIONS BEYOND THE
PURVIEW OF THE INDUSTRIAL COMMISSION.
Consideration of Cabinet Minute 88-113, dated 30th May,
1988, submitted by the Minister for Education and Youth
Affairs, in relation to this matter, was deferred
pending discussion between the following Departments:Premiers
