FORESTRY (AMENDMENT) BILL, 1988.
Approval was given to the provisions of the Forestry
(Amendment) Bill, 1983, as summarised in Cabinet Minute
88-104 dated 27th May, 1988, submitted by the Minister
for Natural Resources, in relation to this matter.
Cabinet also decided that the legislation was to include
provision to enable annual dividends to be paid into the
Consolidated Fund.
PUBLIC FINANCE AND AUDIT
(AMENDMENT) BILL, 1988.
Approval was given to the provisions of the Public
Finance and Audit (Amendment) Bill, 1988, as summarised
in Cabinet Minute 88-106 dated 27th May, 1988, submitted
by the Premier, in relation to this matter.
ESSENTIAL SERVICES BILL, 1988.
Approval was given to the provisions of the Essential
Services Bill, 1988, as summarised in Cabinet Minute
88-55, dated 27th May, 1988, submitted by the Minister
for Industrial Relations and Employment, in relation to
this matter.
Cabinet also decided to establish an Essential Services
Act Implementation Committee to avoid duplicated
Ministerial involvement in non-emergency situations.
The Committee to comprise:Premier
Minister for Industrial Relations
Minister for Police and Emergency Services
Such other Ministers as Cabinet determines.

PARLIAMENTARY COMMITTEES ENABLING BILL, 1988.
Approval was given to the provisions of the
Parliamentary Committees Enabling Bill, 1988, as
summarised in Cabinet Minute 88-109 dated 30th May,
1988, submitted by the Premier, in relation to this
matter.
