CABINET STANDING COMMITTEES.
Approval was given to the Membership of Cabinet Standing
Committees submitted by the Premier, subject to:the deletion of the Minister for Local
Government and Minister for Planning
from the Industry and Employment
Committee of Cabinet.
the addition of the Chief Secretary and
Minister for Tourism to the Industry
and Employment Committee of Cabinet.
the addition of the Minister for Family
and Community Services to the Justice
Committee of Cabinet.
PROPOSED LEGISLATION TO REPEAL THE DARLING HARBOUR
CASINO ACT.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute 88-9, dated 11th April, 1988, submitted
by the Premier in relation to this matter including the
preparation of the necessary legislation.

PROPOSED LEGISLATION TO REPEAL THE CROWN PRIVILEGE.
CERTIFICATE PROVISIONS OF THE EVIDENCE ACT 1898.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute 83-5, dated 5th April, 1988, submitted by
the Attorney General in relation to this matter.
The Attorney General is to take the necessary action to
give effect to Cabinet's decision, including the
preparation of the necessary legislation.
