MISCELLANEOUS AMENDMENT TO THE PROBATION AND PAROLE ACT,
1983.
Consideration of Cabinet Minute 88-75, dated 17th May,
1988, submitted by the Minister for Corrective Services
in relation to this matter was deferred.
•
MURRAY-DARLING BASIN MINISTERIAL COUNCIL.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute 88-71, dated 16th May, 1988, submitted by
the Minister for Natural Resources in relation to this
matter.
The Minister for Natural Resources is to take the
necessary action to give effect to Cabinet's decision.
A PROPOSAL TO REFORM THE MECHANISMS FOR GOVERNMENT
SUPPORT FOR THE FILM INDUSTRY IN N.S.W.
•
Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute 88-83, dated 19th May, 1988, submitted by
the Minister for Health, and Arts in relation to this
matter, subject to:* the funding for the new Office of
Film and Television being determined
following consultation between the
Premier and the Minister for Health,
and Arts (paragraph 3, Page 9 of the
Minute refers).
the transfer of Staff, including the
Directors to be resolved by 1st July,
1988, not 30th June, 1989 (paragraph
2 on Page 9 of the Minute refers).
The Minister for Health, and Arts, is to take the
necessary action to give effect to Cabinet's decision,
including the preparation of the necessary legislation.
