LONG-TERM PRICING REFORM FOR THE WATER BOARD.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute 88-26, dated 22nd April, 1988, submitted
by the Minister • the Environment in relation to this
matter, subject to:the changes to rating levels be raised
to provide that the overall Water Board
income for 1988/89, estimated at 6.2%,

The Minister for the Environment is to take the
necessary action to give effect to Cabinet's decision.

PRIVATE VENTURE TOLLWAYS.
Consideration was given to the proposals contained in
Cabinet Minute 88-35, dated 26th April, 1988, submitted
by the Minister for Transport in relation to this
matter.
Cabinet agreed in principle of Tollways on the basis
that:a toll should be a specific purpose
levy and be removed when a project
in paid for.

each of the specific proposals for
Tollways are to be examined by the
Capital Works Standing Committee
of Cabinet.
The Minister for Transport is to take the necessary
action to give effect to Cabinet's decision.
12.
APPOINTMENT OF CHIEF EXECUTIVE TREASURY CORPORATION.
Cabinet approved of a recommendation being made to the
Governor-in-Council that Mr. Alan James Watt be
appointed as Chief Executive of the N.S.W. Treasury
Corporation, as proposed in Cabinet Minute 88-50, dated
2nd May, 1988, subject to a satisfactory medical
examination.
