PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE FIRE BRIGADES ACT, 1909.
Consideration of Cabinet Minute 38-51, dated 5th May,
1988, submitted by the Minister for Police and Emergency
Services in relation to this matter was deferred.

PROPOSED LEGISLATION TO RESTRUCTURE THE HOME CARE
SERVICE OF N.S.W.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute 88-39, dated 29th April, 1988, submitted
by the Minister for Family and Community Services in
relation to this matter, including the preparation of
the necessary legislation, subject to:* the following words being included at
the end of Recommendation 3.1(f)
"subject to Treasury control on staff".
The Minister for Family and Community Services is to
take the necessary action to give effect to Cabinet's
decision.

PROPOSED LEGISLATION TO AMEND THE COMMUNITY WELFARE ACT,
1987.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute 33-45, dated 3rd May, 1988, submitted by
the Minister for Family and Community Services in
relation to this matter.
The Minister for Family and Community Services is to
take the necessary action to give effect to Cabinet's
decision, including the preparation of the necessary
legislation.
