RECREATION VEHICLES (AMENDMENT) BILL, 1988.
Approval was given to the provisions of the Recreation
Vehicles (Amendment) Bill, 1988, as summarisd in Cabinet
Minute 88-23, dated 20th April, 1988, submitted by the

in relation to this matter.

PROPOSED REPEAL OF THE PUBLIC SERVICE ACT, 1979.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute 88-52, dated 9th May, 1988, submitted by
the Premier in relation to this matter, including the
preparation of the necessary legislation, subject to:a decision by the Premier on whether the

It was also decided that the Premier would provide
Cabinet with a Minute limiting the role of the

PROPOSED AMENDMENTS OF THE POLICE REGULATION
(ALLEGATIONS OF MISCONDUCT) ACT, 1978.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute 88-17, dated 15th April, 1988, submitted
by the Minister for Police and Emergency Services, in
relation to this matter, subject to:the following words being included
at the end of Recommendation 3.1
"or a serious complaint about
conduct, which, if proven, would
lead to dismissal".
The Minister for Police and Emergency Services is to
take the necessary action to give effect to Cabinet's
decision, including the preparation of the necessary
legislation.
