PROPOSED AMENDMENT OF THE FOREIGN JUDGMENTS (RECIPROCAL
ENFORCEMENT) ACT, 1973.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute 88-146, dated 12th July, 1988, submitted
by the Attorney General, in relation to this matter.
The Attorney General is to take the necessary action to
give effect to Cabinet's decision, including the
preparation of the necessary legislation.
PROPOSED LEGISLATION TO AMEND THE CUMBERLAND OVAL ACT,
Consideration of Cabinet Minute 88-148, dated 13th July,
1988, submitted by the Minister for Sport, Recreation
and Racing, in relation to this matter was deferred.
EXAMINATION OF OPTIONS IN RELATION TO THE GOVERNMENT'S
OVERSEAS OPERATIONS.
Consideration of Cabinet Minute 88-152, dated 14th July,
988, submitted • the Premier, in relation to this
matter was deferred.

PHOTO-LICENCE CARDS FOR DRIVERS.
Cabinet rejected the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute 88-124, dated 8th June, 1988, submitted
by the Minister for Transport, in relation to this
matter.
Cabinet approved the introduction of Photo-Licence Cards
for drivers on the following basis:/
the use of compulsory polaroid4lphotolgraphs
not video camera photographs;• and
Optional 1, 3, and 5 year licences, with the
cost of the licence being actual and not
subsidised. Such cost is to be determined
by the Treasury.
The Minister for Transport is to take the necessary
action to give effect to Cabinet's decision.
