Consideration of Cabinet Minute No. 104-87 dated 6th
April, 1987, submitted by the Minister for Finance
in relation to this matter, was deferred for one
week.
PROPOSED AMENDMENT OF THE CLOSER SETTLEMENT AND
PUBLIC RESERVES FUND ACT TO RECONSTITUTE THE
CLOSER SETTLEMENT AND PUBLIC RESERVES FUND.

Approval was given to the recommendations contained
in Cabinet Minute No. 111-87 dated 10th April, 1987,
submitted jointly by the Treasurer and Minister for
Lands in relation to this matter, subject to:consultation with the Attorney General
in the drafting of the Bill in regard
to the proposed amendment to the Real
Property Act, 1900 (Attorney General's
letter of 29th April, 1987, refers).
The Minister for Lands is to take the necessary
action to give effect to Cabinet's decision,
including the preparation of the necessary
legislation.
