APPOINTMENT OF MR. WILLIAMGARFIELD MALLAM
AS FULL-TIME REFEREE, CONSUMER CLAIMS TRIBUNAL.
Approval was given to a recommendation being made to
the Governor-in-Council that Mr. William Garfield
Mallam be re-appointed as full-time Referee,
Consumer Claims Tribunal, for a period of five (5)
years, to expire on 14th May, 1992, as proposed in
Cabinet Minute No. 119-87 dated 21st April, 1987,
submitted by the Minister for Consumer Affairs in
relation to this matter.
The Minister for Consumer Affairs is to take the
necessary action to give effect to Cabinet's
decision, including arrangements for the necessary
medical examination.
BUILDING SERVICES CORPORATION BILL 1987 AND
COGNATES.
Approval was given to the provisions of the Building
Services Corporation Bill 1987 and Cognates as
summarised in Cabinet Minute No. 118-87 dated 21st
April, 1987, submitted by the Minister for Consumer
Affairs in relation to this matter.
STRATA TITLES (AMENDMENT) BILL, 1987 AND
COGNATE BILL.
Approval was given to the provisions of the Strata
Titles (Amendment) Bill, 1987 and Cognate Bill, as
summarised in Cabinet Minute No. 122-87 dated 23rd
April, 1987, submitted by the Minister for Consumer
Affairs in relation to this matter.
JURISDICTION OF COURTS (CROSS-VESTING) BILL 1987.
Approval was given to the provisions of the
Jurisdiction of Courts (Cross-Vesting) Bill 1987 as
summarised in Cabinet Minute No. 120-87 dated 23rd
April, 1987, submitted by the Attorney General in
relation to this matter.
