REVISION OF BUSINESS FRANCHISE LICENCES (PETROLEUM PRODUCTS)
ACT 1982 AND BUSINESS FRANCHISE LICENCES (TOBACCO) ACT 1975.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute No. 102-87, dated 6th April, 1987, submitted
by the Minister for Finance, and Co-operative Societies, and
Assistant Minister for Education in relation to this matter,
including the preparation of the necessary legislation.
The Minister for Finance, and Co-operative Societies, and
Assistant Minister for Education is to take the necessary
action to give effect to Cabinet's decision.
PROPOSED APPOINTMENT OF SECRETARY, DEPARTMENT OF'_LANDS.
Cabinet approved of a recommendation being made to the
Governor-in-Council that Mr. Stanley Joseph Day be appointed
as Secretary, Department of Lands, for a seven year term as
proposed in Cabinet Minute No. 115-87, dated 21st April,
1987, submitted by the Minister for Lands in relation to this
matter.
The Minister for Lands is to take the necessary action to
give effect to Cabinet's decision, including the arrangements
for the necessary medical examination.
