PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE INDUSTRIALARBITRATION ACT, 1940,
IN RELATION TO THEATRICAL AGENTS AND EMPLOYERS, AND PRIVATE
EMPLOYMENT
AGENTS.
Approval was given to the recommendation contained in Cabinet
Minute No. 5-87, dated 19th January, 1987, submitted by the
Minister for Industrial Relations in relation to this matter,
subject to:amendments contained in the letter from
the Minister for Industrial Relations
dated 3rd April, 1987; and

with the provision that the right of a
person to act as their own agent he
retained.
The Minister for Industrial Relations to take the necessary
action to give effect to Cabient's decision, including the
preparation of the necessary legislation.
PROPOSAL BY THE VICTORIAN GOVERNMENT TO EXTEND DAYLIGHT

Approval was given to Option 'A' as proposed in Cabinet
Minute No. 95-87, dated 3rd April, 1987, submitted by the
Attorney General in relation to this matter.
The Attorney General is to take the necessary action to give
effect to Cabinet's decision.
PROPOSED AMENDMENT OF THE BAIL ACT 1978.
Approval was given to the recommendation contained in Cabinet
Minute No. 71-87, dated 16th March, 1987, submitted by the
Attorney General in relation to this matter, including the
preparation of the necessary legislation.
The Attorney General is to take the necessary action to give
effect to Cabinet's decision.
