EDUCATION AND PUBLIC INSTRUCTION BILL 1987.
Approval was given to minor amendments to the Education
and Public Instruction Bill 1987, presently in
Parliament, as proposed in the letter dated 24th March,
1987, submitted by the Minister for Education in
relation to this matter.
RESIDFNTIAL TENANCIES BILL 1987 AND COGNATE BILLS.
Cabinet approved of the following amendments proposed by
the Minister for Consumer Affairs concerning penalties
arising from the Caucus Meeting of 25th March, 1987 and
discussions with officers from the Attorney General's
Department in regard to this matter:*
a 2 Unit penalty for breach of
locks and security provisions; and
*
a 5 Unit penalty for failure to supply
copy of lease agreement to their tenant.
