STAGE 2.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute No. 40-87 dated 24th February, 1987,
submitted by the Minister for Local Government, and
Water Resources in relation to this matter, as amended
by the proposals contained in the Treasurer's letter
dated 11th March, 1987, and the Attorney General's
letter dated 12th March, 1987, subject to:Consultations between the Minister
for Housing, Minister for Public
Works and Ports, Treasurer, Attorney
General and Minister for Planning and
Environment in the drafting of the
Bill.
The Minister for Local Government, and Water Resources
is to take the necessary action to give effect to
Cabinet's decision, including the preparation of the
necessary legislation.
REAL PROPERTY (AMENDMENT) BILL 1987.
Approval was given to the provisions of the Real
Property (Amendment) Bill 1987, as summarised in Cabinet
Minute No. 82-87 dated 30th March, 1987, submitted by
the Attorney General in relation to this matter.
PUBLIC FINANCE AND AUDIT (AMENDMENT) BILL AND
MISCELLANEOUS ACTS (PUBLIC FINANCE AND AUDIT)
AMENDMENT BILL.
Approval was given to the provisions of the Public
Finance and Audit (Amendment) Bill and Miscellaneous
A cts (Public Finance and Audit) Amendment Bill, as
summarised in Cabinet Minute No. 83-87 dated 30th March,
1987, submitted by the Treasurer in relation to this
matter.
CITY OF SYDNEY BILL 1987.
Approval was given to the provisions of the City of
Sydney Bill 1987, as summarised in Cabinet Minute No.
85-87 dated 30th March, 1987, submitted by the Minister
for Local Government in relation to this matter.
