The Minister for Industrial Relations is to take the
necessary action to give effect to Cabinet's decision,
including the preparation of the necessary legislation.
PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE INDUSTRIAL ARBITRATION ACT,
1940, IN RELATION TO THEATRICAL AGENTS AND EMPLOYERS,
AND PRIVATE EMPLOYMENT AGENTS.
Consideration of Cabinet Minute No. 5-87 dated 19th
January, 1987, submitted by the Minister for Industrial
Relations, and Employment in relation to this matter,
was deferred until the next meeting.
MISCELLANEOUS AMENDMENTS TO THE CRIMES ACT.
Consideration of Recommendations 3(a)(i) to (vii) in
Cabinet Minute No. 38-87 dated 25th February, 1987,
submitted by the Attorney General in relation to this
matter, was deferred until the next meeting.
PROPOSALS TO CONSOLIDATE AND AMEND LEGISLATION
COVERING THE ELECTRICITY SUPPLY INDUSTRY.
Consideration of Cabinet Minute No. 72-87 dated 17th
March, 1987, submitted by the Minister for Energy and
Technology in relation to this matter, was deferred for
one week.
PROPOSEDLEGISLATION TO ESTABLISH A MISCELLANEOUS
EMPLOYEES (POLICE DEPARTMENT) BILL.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute No. 53-87 dated 6th March, 1987,
submitted by the Minister for Police and Emergency
Services in relation to this matter.
The Minister for Police and Emergency Services is to
take the necessary action to give effect to Cabinet's
decision, including the preparation of the necessary
legislation.
