PROPOSED LEGISLATION TO ESTABLISH A HOME BUILDING
INDUSTRY CORPORATION.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute No. 58-87 dated 10th March, 1987,
submitted by the Minister for Consumer Affairs in
relation to this matter, subject to:The membership of the Corporation
consisting of 9 members which
includes a part-time Chairperson
to be determined by the Minister,
and two Consumer representatives.
The Minister for Consumer Affairs is to take the
necessary action to give effect to Cabinet's decision,
including the preparation of the necessary
legislation.
NEW SOUTH WALES GOVERNMENT ENGINEERING AND
SHIPBUILDING UNDERTAKING (REPEAL) BILL 1987.
Approval was given to the provisions of the New South
Wales Government Engineering and Shipbuilding
Undertaking (Repeal) Bill 1987, as summarised in
Cabinet Minute No. 73-87 dated 23rd March, 1987,
submitted by the Minister for Public Works and Ports
in relation to this matter.
UNIVERSITY IN WESTERN SYDNEY.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute No. 74-87 dated 23rd March, 1987,
submitted by the Minister for Education in relation to
this matter.
The Minister for Education is to take the necessary
action to give effect to Cabinet's decision.
