PROPOSED ADDITION OF EXTRACTIVE RESOURCES TO THE LIST OF
MINERALS UNDER THE MINING ACT, 1973.
Cabinet Minute No. 303-86, dated 31st October, 1986,
submitted by the Minister for Mineral Resources, in relation
to this matter was referred to the Extractive Resources
sub-Committee of the Advisory Co-ordinating Committee of the
Department of Environment and Planning.
PROPOSED AMENDMENT OF THE STRATA TITLES ACT, 1973.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute No. 20-87, dated 12th February, 1987,
submitted by the Minister for Consumer Affairs in relation to
this matter, subject to:consultation with the Minister for
Housing in the drafting of the Bill.
The Minister for Consumer Affairs is to take the necessary
action to give effect to Cabinet's decision, including the
preparation of the necessary legislation.
PROPOSED LEGISLATION TO ESTABLISH A HOME BUILDING INDUSTRY
CORPORATION.
Consideration of Cabinet Minute No. 58-87, dated 10th March,
1987, submitted by the Minister for Consumer Affairs in
relation to this matter, was deferred until the next meeting.
ARBITRATION (CIVIL ACTIONS) AMENDMENT BILL 1987.
Approval was given to the provisions of the Arbitration
(Civil Actions) Amendment Bill 1987, as summarised in Cabinet
Minute No. 60-87, dated 13th March, 1987, submitted by the
Attorney General in relation to this matter.
