PROPOSALS FOR AMENDMENT OF THE COAL AND OIL SHALE
MINE WORKERS (SUPERANNUATION) ACT, 1941.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained
in Cabinet Minute No. 368-06 dated 28th November,
1986, submitted by the Minister for Industrial
Relations, and Employment, in relation to this
matter.
The Minister for Industrial Relations, and
Employment, is to take the necessary action to
give effect to Cabinet's decision, including the
preparation of the necessary legislation.
PROPOSED AMENDMENT OF THE REAL PROPERTY ACT 1900
TO PROVIDE FOR THE EXTENSION OF THE PROGRAMME OF
CONVERTING CROWN LAND HOLDINGS TO TORRENS TITLE.
Approval was given to the recommendation contained
in Cabinet Minute No. 307-86 dated 5th November,
1986, submitted by the Attorney General in relation
to this matter.
The Attorney General is to take the necessary
action to give effect to Cabinet's decision,
including the preparation of the necessary
I egislation.
PROPOSED LEGISLATION TO PROVIDE FOR THE MORE
EFFECTIVE ADMINISTRATION AND MANAGEMENT OF
CROWN LANDS.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained
in Cabinet Minute No. 281-86 dated 16th October,
1986, submitted by the Minister for Agriculture,
and Lands, and Forests, in relation to this matter.
The Minister for Agriculture, and Lands, and
Forests, is to take the necessary action to give
effect to Cabinet's decision, including the
preparation of the necessary legislation.
PROPOSED AMENDMENT OF THE FISHERIES AND OYSTER
FARMS ACT 1935 TO INCREASE CERTAIN FISHING GROUNDS,
PROVIDE TRACEABILITY OF FISH OFFERED FOR SALE AND
TO PROVIDE FOR FORFEITURE OF SEIZED ARTICLES.
Consideration of Cabinet Minute No. 304-86 dated
5th November, 1986, submitted by the Minister for
Agriculture, and Lands, in relation to this matter,
was deferred for one month.
