PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE PARLIAMENTARY ELECTORATES AND
ELECTIONS ACT, 1912.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute No. 67-87, dated 16th March, 1987, submitted
by the Premier in relation to this matter, including the
preparation of the necessary legislation, subject to:*
the deletion of Recommendation 3.7
*
the inclusion of provisions concerning
the registration of political parties
and how to vote cards.
PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE INDUSTRIAL ARBITRATION ACT, 1940,
IN RELATION TOTHEATRICAL AGENTS AND EMPLOYERS, -AND PRIVATE
EMPLOYMENT AGENTS.
Consideration of Cabinet Minute No. 5-87, dated 19th January,
1987, submitted by the Minister for Industrial Relations, and
Employment in relation to this matter, was deferred until
next meeting.
MISCELLANEOUS AMENDMENTS TO THE CRIMES ACT.
Consideration of Recommendations 3(a) (i) to (vii) in Cabinet
Minute No. 38-87, dated 25th February, 1987, submitted by the
Attorney General in relation to to this matter, was deferred
until the next meeting.
The remainder of the recommendations were withdrawn by the
Attorney General.
THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A NEW SOUTH WALES INSTITUTE OF ART
EDUCATION.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute No. 57-87, dated 5th March, 1987, submitted by
the Minister for Education in relation to this matter.
The Minister for Education is to take the necessary action to
give effect to Cabinet's decision, including the preparation
of the necessary legislation.
