REVISED AMENDMENTS TO THE MOTOR TRAFFIC AND TRANSPORT ACTS TO
IMPLEMENT INITIATIVES ARISING FROM THE STAYSAFE COMMITTEE'S
SECOND REPORT ON CAR DRIVER LICENSING.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute No. 47-87, dated 2nd March, 1987, submitted by
the Deputy Premier, and Minister for Transport in relation to
this matter, subject to:deletion from paragraph 3.9 of the figure "$2"
and the insertion instead following "further"
the words "sum not exceeding $4".

The Deputy Premier, and Minister for Transport is to take the
necessary action to give effect to Cabinet's decision
including the preparation of the necessary legislation.
PROPOSED MINISTERIAL TASK FORCE ON JUVENILE MISBEHAVIOUR.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute No. 51-87, dated 5th March, 1987, submitted by
the Premier in relation to this matter, subject to:special attention also being given by
the Ministerial Taskforce to the care
of juveniles in custody and recidivism.
IDENTIFICATION OF PROBLEM SOILS PRIOR TO BUILDING
PROPOSED
CONSTRUCTION IN DEVELOPING AREAS AROUND SYDNEY
"HOMES ON PROBLEM SOILS" PROGRAM.

and Lands, and Forests, in relation to this matter was
deferred.
