WORKERS' COMPENSATION.
Cabinet decided that further meetings on
this matter would be held at the Premier's
Suite, Parliament House, at 7.00 p.m. on
24th February, 1987, and 8.30 a.m. on 25th
February, 1987.
APPOINTMENT OF MAGISTRATES OF THE LOCAL COURT.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained
in Cabinet Minute No. 36-87 dated 21st February,
1987, submitted by the Attorney General in relation
to this matter, subject to the deletion of Wayne
Henry Evans from the eligibility list.
The Attorney General is to take the necessary
action to give effect to Cabinet's decision,
including the arrangements for the necessary
medical examinations and the Governor-in-Council
endorsement.
APPOINTMENT OF CHIEF INDUSTRIAL MAGISTRATE.
Cabinet endorsed a proposal by the Minister for
Industrial Relations, and Employment, that a
recommendation be made to the Governor-in-Council
that Mr. George Ashley Miller be appointed as Chief
Industrial Magistrate.
The Attorney General is to take the necessary
action to give effect to Cabinet's decision.
