BILL 1987 AND COGNATE BILL.
Consideration of Cabinet Minute No. 32-87 dated
23rd February, 1987, submitted by the Minister for
Co-operative Societies in relation to this matter,
was deferred until the next meeting.
PROPOSED AMENDMENT OF THE OFFENCES IN PUBLIC
PLACES ACT, 1979 AND THE INCLOSED LANDS
PROTECTION ACT, 1901.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained
in Cabinet Minute No. 22-87 dated 12th February,
1987, submitted by the Attorney General in relation
to this matter.
The Attorney General is to take the necessary
action to give effect to Cabinet's decision,
including the preparation of the necessary
legislation.
PROPOSED AMENDMENT OF THE FISHERIES AND OYSTER
FARMS ACT 1935 TO INCREASE CERTAIN FISHING GROUNDS,
PROVIDE TRACEABILITY OF FISH OFFERED FOR SALE AND
TO PROVIDE FOR FORFEITURE OF SEIZED ARTICLES.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained
in Cabinet Minute No. 304-86 dated 5th November,
1987, submitted by the Minister for Agriculture in
relation to this matter.
The Minister for Agriculture is to take the
necessary action to give effect to Cabinet's
decision, including the preparation of the
necessary legislation.
PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE EDUCATION COMMISSION
ACT, 1980.
Consideration of Cabinet Minute No. 351-86 dated
25th November, 1986, submitted by the Minister for
Education in relation to this matter, was deferred
until the next meeting.
