PROPOSED LEGISLATION TO AMEND THE WESTERN LANDS ACT,
1901, TO CLARIFY THE MINISTER'S DISCRETION IN
CONSENTING TO THE TRANSFER OF WESTERN LANDS LEASES
AND TO ABOLISH SPECIFIC PRICE CONTROLS.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute No. 311-86 dated 6th November, 1986,
submitted by the Minister for Agriculture, Lands, and
Forests in relation to this matter, subject to:discussions between officers of the
Departments of Lands, and Environment
and Planning.
The Minister for Agriculture, Lands, and Forests is
to take the necessary action to give effect to
Cabinet's decision, including the preparation of the
necessary legislation.
DRAFT NORTH COAST REGIONAL ENVIRONMENTAL PLAN.
Approval was given to the recommendation contained in
Cabinet Minute No. 315-86 dated 10th November, 1986,
submitted by the Minister for Planning and
Environment, and Heritage, in relation to this
matter.
The Minister for Planning and Environment, and
Heritage, is to take the necessary action to give
effect to Cabinet's decision.
CHRYSOTILE CORPORATION OF AUSTRALIA PTY. LTD., (CAA):
TERMINATION OF MORATORIUM ON DEBT REPAYMENTS.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute No. 16-87 dated 4th February, 1986,
submitted by the Minister for Mineral Resources in
relation to this matter.
The Minister for Mineral Resources is to take the
necessary action to give effect to Cabinet's decision.
