PROPOSED ADDITION OF EXTRACTIVE RESOURCES
TO LIST OF MINERALS UNDER THE MINING ACT, 1973.
Consideration of Cabinet Minute No. 303-86 dated
31st October, 1986, submitted by the Minister for
Mineral Resources in relation to this matter, was
deferred for consultation with the Minister for
Lands, and in view of the absence of the Minister
for Planning and Environment.
PROPOSED MINISTERIAL TASK FORCE ON JUVENILE
MISBEHAVIOUR.
This matter was not considered.
EXTENSION OF APPOINTMENT OF THE DIRECTOR GENERAL
OF THE DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE.
Cabinet approved of a recommendation being made to
the Governor-in-Council that Mr. George Henry
Anderson Knowles be re-appointed as Director
General, Department of Agriculture, for a further
period from 5th July, 1987 to 31st December, 1987,
as proposed in Cabinet Minute No. 14-87 dated 23rd
January, 1987, submitted by the Minister for
Agriculture in relation to this matter.
The Minister for Agriculture is to take the
necessary action to give effect to Cabinet's
decision.

Cabinet decided that its next meeting would be held
at 8.30 a.m. on Thursday, 12th February, 1987,
Premier's Suite, Parliament House.
