PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE PRICKLY PEAR ACT, 1924.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute No. 222-87, dated 7th August, 1987, submitted
by the Minister for Agriculture in relation to this matter.
The Minister for Agriculture is to take the necessary action
to give effect to Cabinet's decision, including the
preparation of the necessary legislation.
PROPOSED AMENDMENT OF THE RECREATION VEHICLES ACT 1983 TO
FACILITATE THE ADMINISTRATION ANDENFORCEMENT OF THE ACT
GENERALLY.
Consideration was given to the proposals contained in Cabinet
Minute No. 126-87, dated 23rd April, 1987, submitted by the
Minister for Planning and Environment, and Heritage in
relation to this matter.
Cabinet decided that the question of injuries and insurance
cover was to be referred to the Sporting Injuries
sub-Committee of Cabinet.
METROPOLITAN STRATEGY FOR THE SYDNEY REGION.
Consideration of Cabinet Minute No. 224-87, dated 11th
August, 1987, submitted by the Minister for Planning and
Environment, and Heritage in relation to this matter, was
referred for consideration by the Housing Committee of
Cabinet.
MOTOR VEHICLE PURCHASING CONTRACTS 1987/88.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute No. 213-87, dated 14th July, 1987, submitted
by the Minister for Industry and Small Business, and Energy
and Technology in relation to this matter, subject to the
amendments proposed by the Minister in his letter dated 31st
August, 1987.
The Minister for Industry and Small Business, and Energy and
Technology is to take the necessary action to give effect to
Cabinet's decision.
