PROPOSED AMENDMENT OF THE LOC A L GOVERNMENT ACT 1919, (PART
VIIA) RELATING TO THE OPERATIONS OF THE NEW SOUTH WALES
LOCAL GOVERNMENT GRANTS COMMISSION.
Consideration of Cabinet Minute No. 219-87, dated 27th July,
1987, submitted by the Minister for Local Government in
relation to this matter, was deferred.
STATE AGREEMENT TO RATIFICATION OFINTERNATIONAL LABOUR
ORGANISATION CONVENTION NO. 62 CONCERNING SAFETY PROVISIONS
(BUILDING), 1937.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute No. 223-87, dated 21st July, 1987, submitted
by the Minister for Industrial Relations, and Employment in
relation to this matter.
The Minister for Industrial Relations, and Employment is to
take the necessary action to give effect to Cabinet's
decision.
SPECIAL FUNDS FOR UPGRADING CAPTAIN COOK DRIVE AT KURNELL.
Cabinet Minute No. 225-87, dated 12th August, 1987, submitted
by the Minister for Planning and Environment, and Heritage,
was referred to a sub-Committee of Cabinet which is to
comorise :

APPOINTMENT OF ASSISTANT DIRECTOR, RURAL ASSISTANCE BOARD.
Cabinet approved of a recommendation being made to the
Governor-in-Council that Mr. Stephen John Griffith be
appointed as Assistant Director, Rural Assistance Board, for
the period until 31st December, 1989, as proposed in Cabinet
Minute No. 234-87, dated 19th August, 1987, submitted by the
Treasurer in relation to this matter.
The Treasurer is to take the necessary action to give effect
to Cabinet's decision, including arrangements for the
necessary medical examination.
