PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE GAMING AND BETTING ACT, 1912.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute No. 236-87 dated 21st August, 1987, submitted
jointly by the Premier and the Minister for Police and
Emergency Services in relation to this matter.
The Minister for Police and Emergency Services is to take the
necessary action to give effect to Cabinet's decision,
including the preparation of the necessary legislation.
PROPOSED AMENDMENT OF THE DISTRICT COURT ACT 1973.
Approval was given to the recommendation contained in Cabinet
Minute No. 216-87, dated 17th July, 1987, submitted by the
Attorney General in relation to this matter.
The Attorney General is to take the necessary action to give
effect to Cabinet's decision, including the preparation of
the necessary legislation.
PROPOSED AMENDMENT OF THE SUPREME COURT ACT 1970.
Approval was given to the recommendation contained in Cabinet
Minute No. 215-87, dated 16th July, 1987, submitted by the
Attorney General in relation to this matter.
The Attorney General is to take the necessary action to give
effect to Cabinet's decision, including the preparation of
the necessary legislation.
PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE PRICKLY PEAR ACT 1924.
Consideration of Cabinet Minute No. 228-87, dated 7th August,
1987, submitted by the Minister for Agriculture
in relation to this matter, was deferred until next meeting.
