APPOINTMENT OF THE SOLICITOR FOR PUBLIC
PROSECUTIONS.
Cabinet approved of a recommendation being made to
the Governor-in-Council that Mr. Howard Charles
Hamilton be appointed as Solicitor for Public
Prosecutions, as proposed in Cabinet Minute
No. 230-87 dated 17th August, 1987, submitted by
the Attorney General in relation to this matter.
The Attorney General is to take the necessary
action to give effect to Cabinet's decision,
including arrangements for the necessary medical
examination.
SECRETARY, PREMIER'S DEPARTMENT.
Cabinet approved of Mr. Gordon Frederick Messiter,
Secretary, Department of Health, being selected to
succeed to the position of Secretary, Premier's
Department, when the present occupant of that
position retires, as proposed in Cabinet Minute
No. 233-87, dated 18th August, 1987, submitted by
the Premier in relation to this matter.
APPOINTMENT OF SECRETARY, DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH.
Cabinet approved of a recommendation being made to
the Governor-in-Council that Mr. Robert Donald
McGregor be appointed as Secretary of the
Department of Health, as proposed in Cabinet Minute
No. 232-87 dated 17th August, 1987, submitted by
the Minister for Health, and the Drug Offensive in
relation to this matter.
The Minister for Health, and the Drug Offensive is
to take the necessary action to give effect to
Cabinet's decision.
