ESTABLISHMENT OF A RENTAL HOUSING TRUST.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute No. 212-87 dated 10th July, 1987,
submitted by the Minister for Housing in relation to
this matter, subject to:the adoption of the qualifications
outlined in the Treasurer's letter
of 15th July, 1987.
The Minister for Housing is to take the necessary
action to give effect to Cabinet's decision, including
the preparation of the necessary legislation.
PROPOSED LEGISLATION RELATING TO THE IMPLEMENTATION
OF THE 3%SUPERANNUATION PRODUCTIVITY CLAIM FOR
NEW SOUTH WALES PUBLIC SECTOR EMPLOYEES.
Consideration of Cabinet Minute No. 214-87 dated 15th
July, 1987, submitted by the Minister for Industrial
Relations, and Employment in relation to this matter,
was deferred to the next meeting, at the request of
of the Treasurer.

WATER SUPPLY AUTHORITIES ACT 1987.
The Minister for Water Resources advised that the
Water Supply Authorities Act 1987 had been proclaimed
to take effect on Friday, 3rd July, 1987.
