PROPOSED AMENDMENTSTO THE STATE POLLUTION CONTROL
COMMISSION LEGISLATION.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute No. 86-87 dated 30th March, 1987,
submitted by the Minister for Planning and Environment
in relation to this matter, subject to:*
the deletion of Paragraph 3.6.11; and

the adoption of the proposed changes to
Paragraph 3.6.16 as outlined in the
Attorney General's letter of 15th April,
1987.
The Minister for Planning and Environment is to take
the necessary action to give effect to Cabinet's
decision, including the preparation of the necessary
legislation.
PROPOSED AMENDMENT OF THE COMMUNITY WELFARE ACT
RELATING TO GUARDIANSHIP OF DISABLED ADULTS.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute No. 186-87 dated 20th May, 1987,
submitted by the Minister for Youth and Community
Services in relation to this matter, subject to:-the amendments outlined in the schedule
attached to the letter from the Minister
for Youth and Community Services dated
8th July, 1987.
'The Minister for Youth and Community Services is to
take the necessary action to give effect to Cabinet's
decision, including the preparation of the necessary
legislation.
THE POLICY AND FUNDING OF_RENTAL REBATES APPLYING
TO PUBLIC_HOUSING TENANCIES.
Cabinet noted the information contained in Cabinet
Minute No. 208-87 dated 3rd July, 1987, submitted by
the Minister for Housing in relation to this matter.
