ENERGY ADMINISTRATION BILL 1987 AND COGNATE BILLS.
Approval was given to the provisions of the Energy
Administration Bill 1987 and Cognate Bills as
summarised in Cabinet Minute No. 173-87 dated 13th
May, 1987, submitted by the Minister for Energy and
Technology in relation to this matter.
PROPOSED AMENDMENT OF THE CRIMES ACT 1900 IN
RELATION TO CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained
in Cabinet Minute No. 136-87 dated 27th April, 1987,
submitted by the Attorney General in relation to this
matter, subject to:the Attorney General reviewing penalties
in comparison to other States.
The Attorney General is to take the necessary action
to give effect to Cabinet's decision, including the
preparation of the necessary legislation.
PROPOSED LEGISLATION TO COMPLETE ESTABLISHMENT OF
BOTANY BAY NATIONAL PARK.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained
in Cabinet Minute No. 125-87 dated 23rd April, 1987,
submitted by the Minister for Planning and
Environment in relation to this matter, including the
preparation of the necessary legislation.
The Minister for Planning and Environment is to take
the necessary action to give effect to Cabinet's
decision.
PROPOSED NEW LEGISLATIVE CODE TO GOVERN ONSHORE
PETROLEUM EXPLORATION AND MINING.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained
in Cabinet Minute No. 110-87 dated 13th April, 1987,
submitted by the Minister for Mineral Resources in
relation to this matter, including the preparation of
the necessary legislation.
The Minister for Mineral Resources is to take the
necessary action to give effect to Cabinet's
decision.
