“If I was talking to young people
about leadership, I would tell
them that above all, being
a good listener to others
is critical. Hear what others
are saying. And listen both
to the words they’re using
and how they look. Be open
and honourable yourself.
If they ask you a question,
answer it in the most
supportive but honourable
and honest way that you
can. And in terms of visible
leadership, be honourable,
be honest, be seen to be doing
what you should be doing.”
