The question of purchasinG a Soud fun
projector
is a matter for ywr Parents & Citizens' Associati
on to
decide. Two makes of sound px'ojeotors have been appro
by the Department for use in schools. They are the verl
l3ell and Howell and the Ainpro sound • It is under stoo

that the former make is not now procurable in Australi
a.
There are 250 Sound and Silent film in the
Department's library and it is expected thats appr
oximately
20 more will be added very shortly.
The Department is prepared to sub sidise the purchase
of an approved projector at the rate of 1/6
per pupil taken
on the avoraue attendance for the term precedin
