Proposed resumption of land for future extensions.
Mr. Iripe ctor±±osker!.
In view of the fact that a considerable portion of the
Teacriers' College site has been appropriated for the purpose of a
Technical College and the fact that the residue of the 79 acre
block being unsuitable on which to erect a Teactiers' College and
niversity College, the Lands Departhient has been asked to revoke
the dedications of Willans Hill Park for recreation purposes and
set Portions 91, 92 and 103, Parish of South Wagga Wagga, County of
Wynyard, apart for hiblic School purposes (Teacherst Collee and
University College).

The Director,
'n u±ie new rraining College site little ground is
flt enougn for suitable building sites. This will be required
for College buildings, playing areas, etc. The tiigh school
building is situatecL very near the southern boundary of the
town and the College site is still further south, in an
almost uninhabited portion of the town, and too rar from the
school for other school huilcings. No portion of the residu.
of the 79 acre block is suitable. The land owned oy LJr.Sorel].
and that west of it, is excellently situated for &
homogeneous block for Home Science rooms, hostels and playing
areas, and I consider that it should be obtained, if possible,
while available.
