feet wide and will, of course, be quite inadequate for
a full Agriculture course. Even this small area will
possibly encroach on one of the playing fields.
It is apparent therefore that some provision will
have to be made for the teaching of practical Agriculture
and this can only be done by extending the site. I feel
also that the fifteen acres concept for high schools should
be reviewed in the light of modern school standards and
designs. A separate submission will be forwarded
regarding this matter in the near future.
I,therefore,consider that the additional land referred
to should be acquired for school purposes as already
recommended.
