District Inspector's Recommendation
The land is not affected by a specific scheme for planning:
the Tweed Shire Council has submitted an interim development
order for general town planning but this has not been gazetted.
no Council objection was raised to the proposed acquisition
of this private land.
As the area in question would be most suited to the needs of
the Tweed River High School and would enable the consolidation
of its recreation grounds and playing fields, it is recommended
that the land be acquired.
