Dear oir,
In compliance with your reqhest, we submit herewith
clan in detail of this theatre held by us under a License under
the Act in force in 1912.
I have to point out that the whdde of the buildings
are on one piece of land; that that portion roofed is for use
during cold, and/or inclement weatheronly, and that the Openair portion is never used in conjAnction with the closed
portion, or vice-versa.
Further, it is our intention to apply to the Chief
Secretary for a refund of License Fees, as only one portion of
the premises is in use at any one performence.
During our occupancy, (now over 20 years) we are
proud of the fact that we have had neither accidenti2or fire,
and we can empty a Capacity house in about three minutes in
case of emergency.
'rhe nearest buildings are erected of stone, and are
those on the blende and Chloride street frontages; in both
instances they are over ninety feet distant, further the local
tire Brigade premises are immediately opposite this theatre so
that we are fully protected.
