I, UM" WESTON of Kiama in the State of Yew South Wales,
Spinster do hereby solemnly and sincerely declare as follows:1.
Iam one of the Administrators with Will annexed in the
1state of the late Joseph Weston of Kiama aforesaid, Journalist,
deceased.
Though it is true that from the date of the death of the
said deceased to the grant of Administration, that is from the
fourteenth day of January to the twenty ninth day of July last, the
sum of Four hundred and fourteen pounds ten pence (L414.0.10)
proceeds of the said Estate were received, the same offers no basis
of any estimate of the average income of the said Estate.
In such sum of Pour hundred and fourteen pounds and ten
pence (C414.0.10) were included many sums aggregating a considerable
amount, which were due for six, eight or ten years and which were
chiefly paid by reason of the testator's death and a desire to help
the members of his family.
No deduction from the said sum of Four hundred and fourteen
pounds and ten pence (X414.0.10) was made on account cf wages or other
necessary expenses for the period the same covered.
I
have made personally an inspection of the hooks of the
Estate and take,extracts therefrom and the total income from the
said Estate in respect of subscriptions printing and advertising for
the half year ending the thirtieth day of June last was Two hundred
and thirty five pounds eight shillings and ten pence (X235.8.10).
For the same period the outgoings, other than wages,
amounted to Seventy six pounds nineteen shinings and eleven pence
and wages actual3y paid One hundred and forty six pounds and six
pence (L146.0.6). Added to the last 3hou1d be a further sum of
One hundred and sixty eight pounds ten shillings (X168.10.0) for
wages due to members of testator's family for their labor on the
said business calculated at award rates and cf which sum Fistity three
pounds four shillings were actually drawn and the balance of Eighty
five pounds six shillings (4:85.6.0) left in the business.
